Sruthi's Wedding Story
Imperial plum, chosen the moment she saw it on the roll.
Sruthi wanted nothing traditional for her reception. She chose the plum raw silk in the first ten minutes of her first consultation and spent the next four months refining a single question: how much embroidery is too much. The answer, in the end, was a hem and a back motif.
Designer’s notes
Restraint took longer than the embroidery would have. We sampled four densities before settling on the lightest.
